









Departure
from the airport in Quito or Guayaquil, arriving at Baltra, from where
they can move by plane (45-minute flight) or from Puerto Ayora by
speedboat (2 hours of navigation) for Isabela. Upon arrival at dock,
expect to move to housing. There will be the distribution of rooms and
recognition of facilities that are at your disposal.
Its
huge crater (11 km. diameter) and Chico Volcano with fumaroles
in activity and a landscape similar to the Moon, the trip is a
vehicle to the area called "El Cura (The Priest)", and then travel by
horse for about 1 hour . This tour is assisted by an arriero and
accompanying guide. Return. Free afternoon.
In
this package you intend to visit the main sites, making based on Santa
Cruz Island. When you watch the blue-legged boobies nesting at Seymour
Island or the yellow iguanas at Plazas Islands, you will be amazed.
GALAPAGOS FOR DREAMERS
DAY 1
Departure by plane from Quito or Guayaquil (1h40
flight). Arrival at Baltra Island (Galapagos), a bus from here will
take to the Canal Itabaca. Channel Crossing (15 minutes) and then by
car to Puerto Ayora (45 minutes). Accommodation at hotel.
Then the guide will lead you to the Charles Darwin Research Station
where students can observe giant tortoises reproduced in captivity.
Also receive an explanation of the ecological characteristics,
geological and scientific Islands.
DAY 2
Breakfast. Departure by sea towards North Seymour Islands or Plazas Islands, (3 hours approx.) After we landed a tour of trails 45 minutes watching blue-legged and masked boobies in a state of nesting. This walk becomes interesting because you can make your photos to one metre from these birds. In places you can enjoy a spectacular lookout appreciating sea lions, and a significant number of sea birds. In this island you can also appreciate the gentle yellow iguanas or land iguanas. Return to Puerto Ayora
DAY 3
Breakfast. Bay tour toward "La Loberia", which
we'll perform skin diving to view sea turtles, reef fish and playful
sea lions. In Punta Estrada disembark to visit the channel white fin
shark, marine iguanas. Return to dock in Puerto Ayora. Lunch.
At 2 P.M. speedboat to Isabela Island and arrive 2h30 minutes later.
Accommodation at the hotel. Immediately the guide will give you
directions core programme of visits, and will toward the wetland
environment (Life in mangroves) to see flamingos, and continue on the
path between the mangroves to observe patillos and Gallaretas, finches,
and a variety of endemic flora from Galapagos, until you reach the
Giant Turtle Breeding Center. Duration of the trail 1 hour and 30
minutes.
DAY 4
After breakfast quit in a vehicle to the place called El Cura (40 minutes), we continue from here by horses for an hour, skirting the crater Sierra Negra, the second largest in the world. We leave the horses and continue for 25 minutes until fall pedestrianChico Volcano to contemplate the fumaroles (craters in volcanic activity) and similar to the lunar landscape of this volcano. Return to Puerto Villamil. Resting on the beach.
DAY 5
Breakfast. Take a vehicle to address the Wall of
Tears, wall 7 meters high and 150 meters long, built by the then
convicted in the decade of 50. Then continue until the Mirador of
Orchilla to get a panoramic view of Puerto Villamil and taking pictures.
Income before the Estero and then to Playa del Amor and tunnels in the
same Estero. Continue to harbor (viewpoints) from the Poza of the

animals, such as blue-legged boobies, penguins, sea lions, iguanas,

DAY 6
Departure by speedboat to Puerto Ayora, to go to Baltra Airport, then continue to Quito or Guayaquil. The exit to the airport Baltra you can also make a plane, in 25 minutes it takes flight.
