Mountain biking:
You can explore the Treasury bike while enjoying the fresh air and
nature of the area. For the more advanced ways there are more
demanding, which can not only enjoy the scenery but also the adrenaline
that this activity offers.
Cavalcade: During
the trip can be seen surrounding beautiful landscapes, including views
of Tungurahua, Chimborazo, Carihuairazo, Altar and until Cotopaxi very
clear in a day. We have very tame horses Criollos and daily use.
Hike:
There are a variety of trails around Los Manteles Finance, which may
experience various ecosystems. The hikes are generally shorter
self-guided while the toughest require guidance. The self-guided walks
are free. In the Treasury provide them with rubber boots and ponchos,
if necessary.
CANOPY:
'Canopy' is a system of cables used by scientists to observe and study
birds. Today also is known as an adventure sport and a different way to
enjoy the woods and nature.
CANYONING:
Within the 200 acres of cloud forest in that we protect at Los
Manteles, all our guests can enjoy a rappelling system (descent by
ropes) developed in 2 of the 30 waterfalls that are within this area .
This activity gives us an opportunity to experience nature from another
perspective.
INDIAN MARKET OF SALASACA TOUR
Visit to Indian Market Salasaca: Indian Community that has preserved their customs, culture and traditions. They are producing tapestries, whose designs express their worldview pre-Columbian. Then the family Pilla will receive us in their house to share the traditions and techniques for the production of their rugs and visit the Huacas (holy places). The Salasaca are working on community tourism to improve their quality of life, to share and participate in this project these support the development of this community. BAÑOS TOUR
In the central Andes, at the foot of Tungurahua volcano, sits the beautiful city of Bath. This city is one of the most visited of Ecuador for its warm climate, adventure sports in which is performed, the relaxation of existing opportunities, the magnificent waterfalls surrounding the area and the unique natural beauty. Bathrooms, like the Los Manteles Treasury, is located between the Sangay National Park andLlanganates National Park. Its strategic location has given it a reputation as one of the doors to the Amazon. Around there are beautiful waterfalls. During our tour we visited "The Devil's Pailón", the famous and most spectacular waterfall in the area. Approximate time of transport: 45 minutes (one way)
SANGAY NATIONAL PARK TOUR
In 1981, Sangay National Park was declared a Natural World Heritage by UNESCO because of the great biodiversity of flora and fauna that inhabit it. It is located between the provinces of Tungurahua, Chimborazo, Morona Santiago, Cañar and Pastaza, thereby covering an area of 517 765 hectareas. The area covered by the Park is considered one of the largest lake systems and important country, with 324 gaps. During our visit we can visit either the lagoon or Ozogoche lagoon Atilla, both located in scenic places extremely rich landscape. During the trip to this wonderful place we can see the mountains as Tungurahua, Altar, Sangay and Chimborazo. Approximate time of transport: 3 hours (one way)
